MUSIC AMBASSADOR

Berlin on the way to partners

The Music Ambassador Programme promotes the international networking of Berlin’s music industry players and musicians and strengthens the internationalization of the Berlin music scene and the business location as a whole.

Funding is provided for travel projects abroad by Berlin players in the music industry and Berlin musicians. One focus is on network exchange and cooperation between music networks. A Music Ambassador is tasked with representing Berlin as a music location internationally and submitting a short report and the results of the trip at the end of the trip.

CURRENT OPEN CALLS

Travel grant program 2025:

Are you interested in international travel, new networks and strengthening Berlin’s music industry?

The Berlin Music Commission’s Music Ambassador Program has been in existence for eleven years and will be announced again in 2025. After a successful pilot last year, the partnership with Musicboard Berlin is again expanding the programme’s target group: in addition to stakeholders from the Berlin music industry (music professionals), Berlin-based musicians from the pop music sector can also apply. Applications from teams consisting of one musician and one music professional are also welcome again this year.

As an applicant, you must have your place of business or residence in Berlin.  The trip must take place between June 8 2025 and November 30 2025. If you are selected, you will be reimbursed part of the travel costs as support.

Apply by May 20th! We are looking forward to your submissions.
