Kerstin Mayer

Since the age of seventeen, Kerstin Mayer has spent a lot of time at concerts. For over a decade, she was also active behind the scenes. Furthermore, she completed an apprenticeship as a tax clerk, studied media management and graduated as an event manager. She discovered her love of cultural funding as a project manager at Initiative Musik. As head of financial administration at Amadeu Antonio Foundation, she was responsible for funding projects at the state, federal and international levels. Since 2020, she has been working as a freelance funding consultant. She supports artists and musicians with great knowledge about cultural funding and how to apply for it – for example at Music Pool Berlin and RockCity Hamburg.
