The Consultation Music Business is an open network format for exchange, advice and problem analysis. The main focus for this event is on the development of strategies for companies, advice on cooperation and funding, management of finances, copyright and the optimization and management of processes.
Instagram is the most popular social media platform for influencer marketing. Musicians and labels can also market their music via the platform. In the session “Instagram tool box – PR & Social Media” on March 25, 2021, Steffen Geldner gave an insight into the optimal use of the social media platform.
Steffen Geldner is the founder of Antischlager, a collective for music and talent – with a label and marketing agency for the digital. His current roster includes four musicians and two influencers. At the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg, he worked for six years as a project manager for digital innovation, where he developed the curriculum with a digital focus and ran the Future Music Camp, among other things. He is now a lecturer at universities in Germany and Europe, focusing on digital music marketing. He also gives social media workshops and works as a consultant – always with a focus on the music industry. Together with Kim Hoss, he publishes the podcast “So ist das Leben”.
