On Thursday, October 28, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., our next Consultation Music Business will take place together with The Changeny as part of Most Wanted: Music on the topic of "Music Industry vs. Climate Crisis - Acting Actively Instead of Just Reacting". The consultation will take place as a satellite event in our new office at Köpenicker Str. 7. The interactive workshop will be led by Sarah Lüngen and Katrin Wipper, founders of The Changency - Agency for Sustainable Change. - The Changency is the catalyst for systemic change towards a climate-friendly music industry. The Berlin-based agency for sustainable change believes in the radiance of music and the responsibility of all stakeholders. Their vision is to be part of the best party in town: a party that manages to combine the passion and radiance of music with a better, more equitable way of life for all. A sustainability that is fun, provides opportunities, and showcases creative ideas! - Climate neutrality, CO2 tax or greenwashing - buzzwords of our time, but what do they mean concretely for the music industry? And why is a green new start so important anyway? The workshop will explain the basics of the climate crisis and possible solutions for the music industry. It will be about how to address the issue, what first steps could look like and how sustainability should be communicated externally. Concrete measures will be shown on how to act in an ecologically sustainable way and thus remain competitive.
