The Business Club Night
The crowning glory of the BMC Popkomm activity at Popkomm 2008 was the Listen To Berlin! Business Club Night on October 11, which was organised by the BMC and clubcommission, with support from the Berlin Senate’s office for commerce, technology and women. Some 600 guests from the worlds of politics, creative industries and art, relaxed at the newly renovated Pfefferberg venue, and the event provided the ideal warm-up for the DJ Popkomm Clubnight.
The principle of not hosting yet an exclusively music industry event and instead opting to bring together people from different fields, was unanimously well-received and there were many requests to host it again. A rematch is definitely in the pipeline at Popkomm 2009.
