
The Music Network of Berlin
Our network represents the interests of medium-sized music businesses in Berlin and brings together local and international business partners. We enhance the standing of the local music businesses in relation to politicians, banks and sponsors. Furthermore, on behalf of our network partners, we undertake marketing for music productions, services and events. Through these activities, we establish a professional basis for co-operations and campaigns, in order to successfully open up new markets.
Our main activities range from bringing together the key players in Berlin’s music scene to public relations/lobbying, and above all, to provide a focal point from which to market Berlin as a music hub.
The Berlin Music Commission aims to establish itself as the national and international representative of medium-sized music businesses in the city, and a gateway to the local music scene. We see ourselves as a driving force when it comes to strengthening Berlin’s music industry, and aim to put it on the right path to eventually compete with New York or London. To begin with, our main task will be to combine the marketing activities of our members, strengthen them and communicate them to the outside world via marketing and promotion campaigns.
