The Supervisory Board

The six person supervisory board controls and determines the direction of the board. It comprises:

Sören Birke (Chairman, Kesselhaus)

Sören Birke is a Culture and Theatre Studies graduate, and an enthusiastic harmonica player. Since 2002 his company Consense GmbH has overseen the programming at the Kulturbrauerei venue complex.

Christine Scherer (Pfefferwerk AG)

Christine Scherer is head of the department for media, culture and education / appreticeship at the Pfefferwerk Stadtkultur gGmbH.

Prof. Dr. Rolf Budde (Chairman, Budde Music)

For over 20 years Rolf Budde have co-run the Budde Musikverlage publishing company, which was founded by their father in 1947. Budde is a member of the supervisory board of the GEMA collection society and is an honorary professor at the Institute Of Culture and Media Management of Berlin’s Freie Universität.

Eva Kiltz (Label-Commission)

Saxophonist in the First-called, music-press-promoter with management in the second detour. Christoph Borkowsky Akbar (Piranha)

In 1979, Christoph Borkowsky Akbar organised his first festival, a charity event which saw punk bands from Berlin and New York playing in aid of refugees from Afghanistan. This became the nucleus for Piranha, and for over 20 years the company has been operating successfully in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Olaf „Ole“ Möller (Vorsitzender Clubcommission Berlin e.V.)

Olaf Möller is a studied geographer and operates – after several intermediate stops – 5 years, the techno club “FATEclub” in Berlin. 3 years ago he founded the event agency “OM party events UG” and organizes itself or on behalf of the various parties / events and event services.
