new berlin talent Sampler
“Wanted: Pop from Berlin!” – this was the call which the BMC put out in June 2008.
With support from the Berlin Senate’s office of cultural affairs, it is how the hunt for the next generation of talent representatives from the city’s pop music scene began. An independent jury of music experts chose 17 tracks, which became the “achtung music – new berlin talent,” CD sampler.
This CD is a tool with which the BMC plans to fulfil its core aim: to promote Berlin’s unique and diverse musical landscape both nationally and internationally, and thereby position Berlin as a dynamic European music metropolis.
