arena Berlin is quite a unique assembly of venues.

The warehouse area which was built in the 1920s now hosts the main hall with a capacity of 9000 people, the theatre Glashaus, the restaurant-club-ship Hoppetosse, the outdoor area Fuhrpark, some clubs and the amazing “Badeschiff”.

This former freightship was rebuilt into a swimming-pool and is used also as a sauna in winter. With 900,000 visitors per year arena hosts concerts, partys, exhibitions, trade fairs and the typical chilly lifestyle of Berlin.

But arena Berlin is also a well established producer and promoter of events like Peter Steins Faust Marathon, Caveman, the popdeurope summer music festival or the popkick public viewing event during the football worldcup which was attended by 250,000 people during the summer of 2006.
